I kind of like this weekly recap idea, so I’m going to go with it for a little while. :)

Books Read:

Incarceron (Incarceron, Bk 1) by Catherine Fisher – So good! I really liked this book. It was interesting! The settings (both inside and outside Incarceron) were so imaginative. Inside the prison was creepy. It wasn’t what I expected, but it was cool. The outside of the prison being another kind of prision for Claudia was a pretty cool concept as well. I liked how it went back and forth between Finn and Claudia. As the action gets going, the perspective switches are faster. There’s a lot of adventure and lots of reveals, but the reveals often open up new questions. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I ordered it from Amazon UK so it should be here this week or so.

Swoon at Your Own Risk by Sydney Salter – Eh – it was okay. I didn’t really love any of the characters. Most of them were selfish and annoying. Polly was kind of a brat at times and kind of hard to relate to. But she wasn’t alone – Jane, Sawyer, Grandma Swoon, and Hayden weren’t likable either. I did like Xander despite his creepy stalkerish ways.
