Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

- Open to a random page

My teaser:

There were several lines I read and thought “That would make a great teaser!” but this is one of my favorites so far.
